First Presbyterian Church has been serving the Mount Pleasant, Texas community for a little over 125 years.  We have continued to proclaim the Good News that Jesus Christ came to redeem us from sin and death and we have spent much of our ministry helping people in need. Our church has been a major driving force in starting the Safe-T shelter, Cypress Basin Hospice, and Habitat for Humanity in our community.  We continue to support different ministries in the community as well as Camp Gilmont and Goodland Academy.  We are a member church of the Presbyterian Church  USA, www.pcusa.org the largest Presbyterian denomination in the United States. 

 

We invite you to participate in this great journey of faith in Christ by being a part of the work and ministry of First Presbyterian Church.  Please come visit our church soon. We have Sunday School for all ages at 9:45 and our morning Worship in the Sanctuary is at 11:00.
